Location: Greenheck Turner Community Center, 6400 Alderson St., Weston, WI 54476
Set-up* & Grab n’ Go Breakfast: 7:00 – 7:28 am
Vendor Working Lunch (provided): 11:25 am – 12:00 pm
Clean Up: 2:06 – 3:00 pm
*There may be an opportunity to set up your booth in the evening of Wednesday, March 5. More details to come.
The event is presented by the United Way of Marathon County and Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area, in partnership with the D.C. Everest Area School District and the Wausau School District and members of a planning committee. We anticipate roughly 2,000 high school students will attend throughout the day.
This event's goal is to educate youth about career and college opportunities and learn more about our community—please keep in mind that this may be a teen's first experience talking with a business/college/organization. Meaningful career conversations help teens plan for their futures and increase future wage earnings (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development).
New this year: $25 per vendor/booth registration fee (via link provided after submitting registration).
Please note: Per school and/or funders' policies, the following items should be avoided when considering giveaways/promotional materials at your booth:
- latex (including latex balloons)
- foods containing nuts (including coconut)
- strongly scented products (aerosol sprays, essential oils, etc.)
- sticky items (stickers)
- sharp items (pocket knives, golf tee markers, etc.)
- political or religious displays/materials/giveaways
