Annual Construction Trades Career Fair for Schools

Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at the Expo Hall @ Kewaunee County Fairgrounds in Luxemburg.


This is a regional event, focusing on the following counties in Northeast Wisconsin: Brown, Door, Florence, Forest, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, and Shawano.  There is a $100 monetary donation available for School’s to help with bus cost and substitute teacher that register and attend this event. The event is targeted for 10th , 11th and 12th grade (9th graders at School Counselor’s discretion) for student’s that have interest in architecture/construction and related fields. This event is offering two sessions (morning 8:30-11am/afternoon 12pm-2:30) with a cap of 350 student’s for each session. Registering early for this event will guarantee your school will be attending.

The Northeast WI Building and Construction Trades Council (NEWBCTC) will be hosting the Annual Construction Trades Career Event on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at the Expo Hall @ Kewaunee County Fairgrounds in Luxemburg. This will be an interactive “hands on” event for high school students interested in exploring a career in the trades. The students will have an opportunity to work with journeyman from the trades with “hands on” activities! 

Please respond as soon as possible if your school will be interested in attending and number of possible attendees and whether you will be coming for the morning or afternoon session. Please give us a name and contact information of whomever we can contact about this event.
