The Northeast WI Building and Construction Trades Council (NEWBCTC), in partnership with the Blackwell
Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center, will be hosting our 2nd Annual Construction Trades Career Fair on
Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, at the Blackwell Job Corps Center in Blackwell, WI, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00
p.m.
This regional school district event focuses on the following counties in northeastern Wisconsin: Florence,
Forest, Iron, Langlade, Lincoln, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Oneida, Shawano, Vilas, and
Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Our target audience is 10th, 11th, and 12th grade high school students (with 9th
graders at the school counselor’s discretion).
The 2024 Construction Trades Fair is an interactive, hands-on day for young adults interested in exploring a
career in architecture, construction, or related trade industries. Students will have an opportunity to meet and
learn from journeypersons, union representatives, and employers in all trade areas as they try their hands at
various daily work activities. For additional information about what can be expected, you are encouraged to

Please note that we have made a few changes this year, allowing participants to access the career fair freely in
any order of interest they choose, and we have arranged for all students and staff attending to be provided lunch
on our campus free of charge!
Schools wishing to be a part of our day can sign up for the event by responding by scanning the QR code below.
