Let them try the trades. See what clicks.
A hands on experience can help students see a future they had not considered. They can ask questions about paid apprenticeships and learn what it takes to get started.

Quick answers
Do we have to stay the whole day?
No. There is one session from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and schools arrive and depart at their convenience. Come for the morning, the afternoon, or all day. If you are there from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., lunch is provided for your students.
How does the $150 work?
Every school that registers and attends receives a $150 monetary donation from NEWBT to help offset transportation and staffing costs, such as the bus and substitute teachers. Register first, then attend. Desi will confirm the details when she replies to your registration.
Is there a registration deadline?
No fixed deadline is published, but space is limited and early registration ensures participation. Most districts need a week or more to book a bus, so send your registration now. You can update your headcount later.
BRING YOUR SCHOOL.
